Funday Monday!!

Well we made it through the weekend and now it's time for Funday Monday!  


Today we made 3-D Sidewalk Chalk...Here's what you'll need
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 Tbs flour
1/4 cup water
4-6 drops food coloring
Medium zip bag


Mix cornstarch and flour together in a small bowl
Add water and food coloring
Mix until the consistency of a thick paste, if paste is too dry, sprinkle with a little water and stir.
Pour mixture in a zip bag and seal
Cut a small hole in the corner of the zip bag and squeeze the chalk out of the bag onto the sidewalk.  


We found that if you use a cake decorating bag, it works a bit easier and you can change the tips to create different designs.  Also, add a little glitter to give it a bit of sparkle.
