Funday Monday!!

Well we made it through the weekend and now it's time for Funday Monday!  


Today we made 3-D Sidewalk Chalk...Here's what you'll need
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 Tbs flour
1/4 cup water
4-6 drops food coloring
Medium zip bag


Mix cornstarch and flour together in a small bowl
Add water and food coloring
Mix until the consistency of a thick paste, if paste is too dry, sprinkle with a little water and stir.
Pour mixture in a zip bag and seal
Cut a small hole in the corner of the zip bag and squeeze the chalk out of the bag onto the sidewalk.  


We found that if you use a cake decorating bag, it works a bit easier and you can change the tips to create different designs.  Also, add a little glitter to give it a bit of sparkle.

Drinkday Friday

Happy Friday Everyone!


This week for Drinkday Friday, we are making a delicious, refreshing, and spectacular poolside drink called Pink Frizzy!


What you'll need:
1 bottle White Zinfandel Wine (any brand will do, we used Sutter Home)
2 cans frozen pink lemonade (do not make)
2 cans lemon-lime soda (again any brand will do, we used generic brand)
In large punch bowl or pitcher, mix wine, frozen lemonade and soda together pour over ice, get yourself poolside and ENJOY!

A little about ourselves.  We are sisters from Salt Lake City, Utah, Amanda and Kimberly. We have always been crafty girls and have come across a few ideas that we have really enjoyed making and sharing with our families.  so what better way to get those ideas out to all of you but by a new blog.  


We hope you enjoy what we have to offer, including Funday Monday (obviously, this will be something FUN, could be a craft, decorating idea, etc), Eats and Treats Tuesdays (a delectable new recipe) and Drinkday Friday (a new and delicious drink just in time for the weekend).
